I'll possibly be moving semi-soon; I would be sharing a house with a roommate..........SUB TIME!! The stereo would be going in a 2-story family room; it will be nice to finally be able to tackle serious bass and room acoustics

The Chicago area, as well as a large chunk of the country, is expecting some serious stormage this afternoon/evening. I'll be inside, blaring some tunes awaiting the rain... all without a shred of worry thanks to my trusty PS Audio Quintet, aka my audio system's guardian angel!

I stopped by a local hifi/theater dealer last night; I got to play with a pair of Bryston 7B SST2 mono's(!) powering some huge Martin Logans... backed up by a JL F113. I ended up chatting with the employee for nearly an hour, and left (empty handed as intended) nearly a half hour after the posted closing time. I have unfortunately had some less than ideal experiences at dealers near me... last night was absolutely not one of those!

So my favorite local record store, which did a midnight opening/get together for Record Store Day, has been forbidden to do so this year by the RSD folks(!?) 8:00am opening… I’ll be arriving to get in line (or hopefully start the line) at about 5:00. RSD!!!!!!!!

a good friend and I were roommates 2011/12. We parted ways this past March... yesterday I made a visit to his new place, and what do I see? An Audio Technica turntable hooked up to a vintage Harman Kardon receiver and MTX speakers! I HAVE OFFICIALLY SPREAD THE STEREO VIRUS!!!
