About Me

Been excited about listening to great music on good audio systems since 1956. With my business partner Mark Heaston, ran Concert Sound in San Antonio from 1981 until 2004, when I moved to Austin.

We changed Concert Sound's name to Austin HiFi last year and continue as US importers of Crimson Electronics and cables from the UK, as well as Tocaro single-driver loudspeakers from Germany. After 5 years away, Mark and his wife Mary moved back to San Antonio, where Mark takes great care of our many faithful customers (expert LP12 tuner) and assists Crimson and Tocaro dealers around the country.

My Audio System

Reson Rota turntable and tonearm, Reson Lexe MC pickup, Resolution Audio Opus 21 CD player, Crimson 710 Pre-amplifier, 2 pairs Crimson 640 Series II mono power amplifiers, Crimson cables throughout and Tocaro 45 loudspeakers.
