Looking forward to seeing old friends at RMAF this year and making new ones. We will have pure power one 5.0s in 5 rooms and a new "se" on static display at the Cable Company exhibit in the main lobby. I'll be taking that to a few rooms for audiions after hours.

I remember reading in Jazz Times wherein a famous musician was ranting against audiophiles saying they would rather hear a well-recorded average performance than an average recording of a fabulous performance. What sayest thou? Are we looking for the heart of the recording or the heart of the music? Just asking.
OK dokey, here's a little ditty I loved inthe 60s. However, the folks at the Lawrence Welk Show seem to be absolutely clueless about the song. What a hoot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye3ecDYxOkg
Just back from Newport and my impression was extremely favorable - of the rooms, the sounds, and especially the people. So sad I'm in manufacturing and every penny goes back into inventory - I did have certain items on the "Lust List."
The new Silver Circle Audio pure power one 5.0 240V version is now available for purchase in New Zealand and Australia, please visit www.mcleans.info for sales and support. Bill McLean is a real stand up guy, quite knowledgeable, and also imports, among other things, Maggies and Sanders Sound System gear. If you're down under, give him a shout.
