LP12 assembly

Giving the setup a listen after final calibratio
Nice 'table, anniversary edition LP12
F-dot-cross tonearm by the Funk Firm headshell assembly is slotted to give the proper angle on the cartridge mount.
'table came together nicely. Here we fitted it with a Funk Firm 5mm Achromat replacement mat. Looks pretty sharp. Also something that I started doing many years ago is to flip the power switch by 180˚ allowing the light to be seen from across the room. Nothing like walking into your room to the platter spinning from over night.

I really like these cartridges. Have been carrying the Transfiguration cartridges for over 5 years now.
Arm going onto the arm board
a little magic damping tape

Underside of floating sub-chassis treated with damping tape (as is motor)
The external Lingo power supply's interface board inside the plinth is treated with damping tape
braided motor wiring connected to Lingo power supply's board
Linn's stainless top plate's underside treated with damping tape
Board and all wiring junctions treated with damping tape
more damping tape (in black)
and more damping tape
I like braiding the motor wiring
Motor treated with a couple of strips of damping tape
Damping tape going onto the motor
Linn Sondek LP12 turntable up on the jig, armboard removed for drilling
Hey, gotta work in the right environment. I'm doing this out in the patio and streaming music to the outdoor speakers. Yup, that's AudioEvoite recording artist Halie Loren's "After Dark" album playing through the music system
signature anniversary edition Linn Sondek LP12 in the setup jig, bottom and armboard removed, bearing cap in place.
No room for vanity in the trenches... sure sucks getting older though but these do work wonders when setting up a cartridge. :)
